Dead Sea Salt

Washing with Dead Sea salt improves the condition of the skin and your health in general.

Dead Sea salt:

• maintains the skin's moisture level, making e.g. dry skin less dry
• cleanses and disinfects
• removes dead skin cells
• gives the skin a healthy look
• reduces wrinkle formation
• relieves and remedies chronic skin conditions
  
  Using Dead Sea Salt has no harmful side effects. It is ideal for home use: it leaves no substances in the bathtub or washbasin and has an unlimited shelf life.

• For a bath: dissolve a cup of Dead Sea salt in a tub of warm water. Bathe for 15 minutes, clean the skin with a mild soap and lukewarm water.
• For a foot bath : dissolve half a cup of Dead Sea salt and bathe for 10 minutes. Dry feet well and apply a foot cream.

Make a salt lotion

• Dissolve 250 g of Dead Sea salt in 750 ml of water. This 1:3 ratio equals that of the Dead Sea and is therefore very effective.
• Put this solution in a plastic bottle and put it in the bathroom.
  
  You can store the salt lotion for a long time. If it becomes cloudy over time, it is time to replace it.

• In the shower: After showering, rub yourself with the salt lotion using a flannel and let it dry on the skin or dry yourself off like this. You may also rinse it off, but this will undo some of the effect.
