How to use
Mud soap
This mud soap contains a high concentration of Dead Sea mud, minerals and olive oil. It thoroughly cleanses skin pores and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. To be used for face and body.
Dead Sea Mud
The black mud found in the Dead Sea contains 26 minerals and has a deep cleansing effect. It absorbs oils and dirt, relieves pain in muscles and joints and soothes and refreshes the skin. Dead Sea Mud applied to (parts of) the body reduces stress and slows the aging process of the skin. The immune system is strengthened and therefore the resistance improves. The moisture-absorbing effect of the minerals improves digestion, detoxifies and restores the moisture balance of the skin cells, making them firmer.
Suggested use:Â Before bathing or showering, apply a generous amount to the whole body (possibly heated in the microwave for 1 minute) or only in the areas where the psoriasis is located. Allow the mud to dry, but leave it on the skin for no longer than 20 minutes. Rinse well with water.
For psoriasis on knees and elbows: heat the mud in the microwave for 1 minute, apply it to the surface and cover it with plastic wrap. Wrap a warm towel around it and leave it on for 15-20 minutes.Â
Dead sea salt
Reduces itching, makes skin less dry and removes dander.
Dissolve 250 g of Dead Sea salt in 750 ml of water. Put this in a plastic bottle and put it in the bathroom. This way, you create a salt water lotion with the same concentration as that of the Dead Sea.
After showering with the mud soap, turn off the shower tap and gently wash with a flannel with the Dead Sea lotion for 3-5 minutes. Then rinse off if necessary. The longer the salt water stays on the skin, the better. The more often you dab the skin with the lotion during the day, the better.
On average, one litre of Dead Sea lotion is enough for 10-12 washes of an adult. So with one jar of salt (1.2 kg), you make just under 5 litres of Dead Sea lotion. Shelf life is infinite.
After washing/contact with the Dead Sea lotion, the salt will sting and burn the skin, reducing itching. In this way, the skin is disinfected. This is a normal, temporary reaction.
To reduce burning and stinging sensations in children, we recommend the following concentrations of salt:
Children up to 3 years: dash of the above salt water dissolve in the bath water.
For children aged 3 and over: dissolve 100 g of salt in 900 ml of water.
Mud shampoo
This shampoo is highly effective in removing grease and dirt and promoting hair and scalp health. Gently removes dander on the scalp. Soothes the scalp.
Suggested use: shake well before use. Apply shampoo in palm of hand and massage into hair and scalp for one minute. Rinse well and repeat.
Mud cream
Calms the skin; very effective in relieving irritation, itching, extremely dry skin, redness and flakes.
Apply twice a day after cleaning with the mud soap.
Improvement in skin condition can be noticed after just a few days; the skin feels relaxed and nourished again.
